White Dutch Clover Seeds
White Dutch Clover Seeds for Pollinator Friendly Lawns
White Dutch clover is one of the best plants for pollinator friendly lawns. It flowers off and on from mid June until the first frost in October in Minnesota depending on how much moisture we have.
It does not grow as tall as the Alsike Clover we offer, so it works better mixed into a lawn with grass seed or planted by itself for lower growing pollinator coverage.
In Minnesota, 57 native species of bees feed on the nectar and pollen of this clover. The delicate white flowers provide nectar and pollen during times when native flowers are in short supply. Help save the bees and plant more clover!
Support Pollinators With White Dutch Clover
White Dutch Clover is a practical way to add pollinator friendly forage to lawns, hobby farms, gardens, and open spaces while maintaining a lower growing appearance compared to taller clover varieties. Because it stays shorter than Alsike Clover, it works especially well mixed with grass seed or planted by itself in pollinator friendly lawns.
The long bloom period provides an important nectar and pollen source for honeybees and native pollinators throughout much of the growing season in Minnesota, especially during times when native flowers may be in short supply.
In addition to supporting pollinators, all sales from seed purchases go toward our Land For Bees initiative to help replant and establish pollinator refuges on our land.

Help Restore Pollinator Habitat in Minnesota
Pollinator populations continue to face serious habitat challenges throughout Minnesota. Planting clover is one practical step homeowners and landowners can take to provide nectar and pollen sources for bees during the growing season.
All sales from seed purchases go toward our Land For Bees initiative to help replant land for pollinators and support future habitat restoration efforts. You can read more about Land For Bees here.

Have some patches in the yard that I don't want to seed with grass. Buying through Ames Farm was quick and delivery was faster than expected. When I run out, I will buy again.
Bought this brand and a different brand and these seeds have THRIVED! While the other brand was a complete dud and waste of money! Super impressed and I’ll only be buying from here now :)
I am hopefully that the introduction of the clover to multiple small plots will help to build pollinators resources.
Thank you
Great seed selection, quick shipping, good prices .
We bought these seeds to plant in areas where mole destruction has left us with a dirt desert! I scaled the hard dirt, scattered the seeds and watered. They germinated over night! We are excited to see how it grows our happy non-turf lawn.
